OLD QUESTION
(for Fee)
Why has life put such
a need to talk inside us,
when there is nobody to talk to?

Love the photos; a pity I cannot be trusted to make a brotherly folio myself, but that's an idea! before i go i'l have a go...
ReplyDeleteWanted to say something about 'Fee'... Fielding Dawson right? Liked him very much indeed. First prose of his I read was, I think, the piece published by Andrew Crozier/Ferry Press, THREAD. Wonderful. Next perhaps the KRAZY KAT collection from Black Sparrow. Big correspondence ensued, and I published him in my magazines. Tried to bring him over to Australia mid 70s... don't really remember the ins & outs... another bad dream?!!! Connection with Paul Blackburn here more than enough for a party!
My first readings of Fielding Dawson similar to yr own, K. But i really loved his "BLACK MOUNTAIN BOOK."....terrific prose writer. AND, you know?, i still have signed hardbacks of some of his books from BLACK SPARROW... Only silly collector's prices however!!!
