the sun was going down behind the reed-beds...it was shining thru the leaves on the trees...and when i got to the river running thru a meadow, it was sparkling on the water...

THE WOODS #1

Wide awake 3a.m. ...started drawing and conceived of a series entitled "THE WOODS" - FOREST sounded more evocative, but WOODS is more English...more local and in my head, having, a couple of days ago, "discovered" RADIPOLE WOODS.
