You had to be there !!! Not entirely happy with photos, 24hrs later..BUT actually BEING on the beach, cycling in the spray along the surf-line, disturbing the sea-gulls, but not managing to get a good-enough shot of them in the air, was absolutely wonderful. Video comes to mind !!! Spoke to an early-morning photographer - just the two of us on the beach at about 6.30am...OH, the tractors were out, cleaning/sifting thru the sand, to make an idyllic stretch of flat sand for the holidaymakers, floodlights on....
