sounds of
seagulls & chainsaws.

Pilons across the lake
a bird on every one.

Walking by the lake
this time
i see the violets.

on the path
baby coots preening.

[A couple of years ago Becks made me some handmade papers for my bookmaking endeavours. i made her a book of these poems, with her paper, in gratitude. i live on one side of the lake...she, on the other. Seemed to be appropriate little token/gift.]
