"A MAN IS RICH IN PROPORTION TO THE NUMBER OF THINGS WHICH HE CAN AFFORD TO LET ALONE."
bernard hemensley GOLDY HERMITAGE WEYMOUTH ======================
One of my nicknames is "NID"... a NEDDY SEAGOON kind of name... i worked a long time with abrasive pad and oil pastels on one of my abstract fotos. Without intent of any sort, a nest-type image evolved....And i thought of "NID", one of my nicknames as well as "NEST" in French...So there it is.
ReplyDeletei chose the orange dragonfly paper as background, thinking of the numerous dragonflies that zip about the back garden during the evenings as i've sat looking out these past august days...in fact, have never seen so many in one small place...
Gorgeous! Your abstract work reminds me of Chagall's delicious brushwork seen close up.
ReplyDeleteMany thanx, "J"...but you won't turn my head wiith words like "Gorgeous" and "Delicious"...i will just be reminded of the turn-on that FOOD is, for me....but "CHAGALL"!!!!.....ONLY JOKIN'....Thanx, Jurate :-)
ReplyDeleteBy the way,i used to finish an "Artwork" in 2 to 10 minutes at the most....This one, and the others on this blog, take well over an hour or so of intensity...i get hot ..
