These fotos are for my UNCLE JIM, who was always poppin-out to NOON'S GARAGE, on the BURSLEDON ROAD in SOUTHAMPTON, where he would spend countless hours, after work, fiddlin with motors and smokin WOODBINES or WEIGHTS. And i remember the smells of both SWARFEGA and LIFEBOUY soap, that he used to wash-off the grease and grime from his hands...... right-up to his elbows. i remember him in his vest, with tanned face and forearms, and shoulders as white as snow. JIM GOSLING, i'm sure you're driving a car in heaven somewhere.
